Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for over a decade. Alexandra is known for parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her portrayal on Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The other Oscar nominated films featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex.
